Abstract
In article the current state of the European Free Trade Association as result of long-term evolution is analyzed. The place and a role of EAST in system of the world economy and world trade are shown. The review of trade relationship of this organization with other states and, in particular, with the states of the Council of Cooperation of the Arab States of the Gulf (CCASG) is submitted.
