THE CIS COUNTRIES IN THE INTERNATIONAL RATINGS ON THE LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDUSTRY

Abstract

Now the economy servitization, that is fast development of the service sector for satisfaction of various needs of the population moves to the forefront. Transition to post-industrialism happens together with a new qualitative round of development of the secondary (industrial) sector of economy and the industrialization process continuing on a global scale. Still the level of development of the industry defines degree and quality of development of all other branches of economy. The strong secondary sector of economy, powerful manufacturing industry of the state is a direct way to economic wellbeing in post-industrial economy. A research objective was identification of positions of the CIS countries in the international ratings reflecting the level of the industrial sector development. In article positions of the CIS countries in ratings are characterized and the happened changes come to light. The analysis of positions of Russia and other CIS countries in ratings is necessary to correct the direction of further industrial development of these states with the purpose to take them more worthy place in the globalized economy, including due to their cooperation in the innovative sphere.
