The concept of freedom and necessity is considered in the article in several semantic aspects: 1) How these concepts was represented in the history of philosophy, and what kind of contradictions can be revealed due to this consideration. 2) How freedom of choice can be associated with the organization of the psyche and consciousness of a man.
