Abstract
The term “Transactional expenses” (TE) is a key concept in the modern institutional theory. These expenses are inevitable in the interaction of economic entities, and their value determines the effectiveness of this interaction. A classification of transaction expenses and based on their analysis the method of calculation of the optimum size of pharmacy networks is developed. The formulas and coefficients of TE information search, selection of TE, TE opportunism in antacid and antiulcer medications market were offered and calculated.
