Abstract
The author refers to the study of Western axiological project from the Renaissance, the Reformation and the Enlightenment to the neo-liberal globalization. He wondered whether the Western vector of the globalization only. Based on the historical experience of the Byzantine Empire and Russia as the successor to the Byzantine heritage, the author concludes that the Western project of putting ideology, turned into eastern and Russian, with the rate of economic development and civil liberties - the Western.
