Abstract

The paper is devoted to an analysis of the relation existing between the concepts foundation and development of knowledge. The foundation is not an unshakeable base of science, but a solution of the antinomy arising in the course of science development. Such an approach permits a dynamic vision of the foundation as a proper moment of the development of scientific knowledge periodically arising in scientific development.
