Взаимоотношения США и Австралии в свете новой внешнеполитической доктрины Барака Обамы

Аннотация

В предлагаемой работе проводится сравнительный анализ политической и экономической ситуации, существовавшей в АТР в период, соответствующий пребыванию в Белом Доме администрации Дж. Буша-младшего, с той, которая сложилась со времени прихода к власти Барака Обамы в контексте проводимой последним «новой» внешней политики в отношении союзников, нейтральных стран и оппонентов США. Автор стремится показать, что «новая» политика Вашингтона воспроизводит прежнюю с небольшими изменениями. Исследуются также перспективы применения США концепции взаимоотношений с партнерами и ее возможное влияние на положение традиционных союзников США, таких как Австралия, и на регион АТР в целом.
