Abstract
Article is devoted to the Korean issue in the framework of Sino-US relations in the XIX century and its impact on interaction between two states. During this period China and the U.S. are trying to influence the fate of Korea, fighting for domination in the region. The author analyzed the actions and the role of individual historical figures from both sides.
