Abstract
In article questions of functioning and economic stability of the companies of electrical power sector are considered. As a result of the conducted theoretical researches and the analysis of financial performance of the enterprises of electrical power sector, and also the analysis of factors which became a basis for increase in positive financial results of activity of the enterprises the original sequence of expedient and gradual liberalization of the market of the electric power taking into account the universal tendencies of complex and mutually agreed development which are power generating, the power distributive and power supplying companies is created. The recommendations for the enterprises of this branch containing the concept which is of practical interest to the enterprises are developed.
