MODERN TRENDS OF ACCOMMODATION OF TNCS HEADQUARTERS IN COUNTRIES AND GLOBAL CITIES

Abstract

In article features of placement of the headquarters of the largest multinational corporations in the countries of the world and the global cities are considered. Multinational corporations act as the main driving force of modern process of transnationalization. At the end of the 20th century of multinational corporation became a key link in development of the international economic relations and world economy in general. World corporations have significant effect not only on national economy, but also on development of the cities in which the company headquarters is based. The key to the growing market consumption of the leading cities is a global reach of multinational corporations regarding production, forces of a brand and retail networks. Processes of transformation and shift of poles of economic power are of great interest. The profile of the markets as a factor of welfare is displaced with developed on developing countries. The main catalyst of such current global trends is activity of multinational corporation.
