Abstract
In article the role of oil and gas companies (OGC) in economy of Russia reveals. The similar and specific elements of strategy of oil and gas companies of Russia providing expansion on the foreign markets with the strategy of leaders of world oil and gas corporations are considered. The author notes that forming of development strategies of the state oil and gas companies is, first of all, a prerogative of the state which practically withdrew from regulation of processes of internationalization of their activities. The reasons are generalized and the factors most of which weakened financial stability of domestic oil and gas companies are allocated.
Importance of timely adaptation of corporate strategies to dynamic changes of the external environment is proved. On the example of PJSC Lukoil modern methods and approaches by means of which process of adaptation and company competitiveness is performed are analyzed. The main tactical objectives on achievement of strategic objectives, and also ways of overcoming the revealed practical problems of adaptation and increase in competitiveness of oil and gas companies on the basis of innovative development and concentration of the equity are systematized.
