Mathematical modeling of the economic effect of the application of precision farming technologies (at the macro level)

Abstract

The article discusses the trends in the digital transformation of agriculture towards the precision production of industry products, embodied in precision farming technologies based on the Earth’s remote sensing data. It is shown that these technologies are currently evolving from the digitalization of separate operations to the digitalization of an interconnected complex of them based on the integration of all operations, including operations of related industries. The analysis of the problems of the effective implementation of digital technologies in Russia, as well as the ways to solve them based on integrated integration technologies is given. The authors present a mathematical model of the economic effect of the application of precision farming technologies based on the Earth’s remote sensing data, which has become one of the main drivers of the rapid development of agriculture around the world. Possible options for the usage of this model with the aim of a science-based approach to the development of these technologies in the country are discussed.
