Macroeconomic indicators for measuring innovation activity

Abstract

The article defines the content of innovation activity, identifies the main types of activities related to it, examines groups of macroeconomic indicators of innovation activities in the country used by international statistical services and analyzes them. Along with the applied methodological approaches to the assessment of innovation activity, the necessity of taking into account its effectiveness at the level of the organization to assess the degree of innovation activities of the country is justified. The results obtained are useful to government agencies and statistical services in the process of analyzing and evaluating the innovation activity of the country and individual regions.
