Abstract
The article discusses the essence of strategic planning of an enterprise in the oil and gas industry, where strategic planning involves creating long-term goals for companies, defining a single mission, as well as understanding further actions for ordinary employees. The study clearly shows the logical chain of strategic planning, which implies "action - solution - company strategy and goals". The functional structure of strategic planning has been defined, which includes the distribution of available resources in the organization, adaptation to the external environment, i.e. financial and economic activities, a strategic planning mechanism has been defined at the enterprise, which includes an information system, a strategic planning mechanism, a methodological, organizational and process subsystem, coordination and regulation of structural units, setting goals and objectives, developing a single mission, thinking and strategic planning. Requirements for employees of the management staff, including the ability to identify changes in the company, the sensitivity of the strategy, the ability to simulate situations, implement the strategy, including taking into account the specifics of the oil and gas industry, were considered. The purpose of the study is to study and substantiate the directions of the strategic management model for the development of the oil and gas complex. The authors relied on the use of general scientific methods of knowledge of the studied managerial phenomena.
