Abstract

The article discusses modern aspects of the development of light industry in the Russian Federation. In the context of the current unstable geopolitical situation, as well as the existing restrictions on imports to our country, the problems of ensuring the competitiveness of light industry enterprises in the RF were analyzed. Based on the identified problems, measures are presented aimed at increasing the competitiveness of light industry enterprises in the Russian market in conditions of limited imports. Measures have been proposed to stimulate investment in the development of the infrastructure of the light industry in Russia. It is assumed that by using innovation, improving corporate governance, interacting with regulatory authorities, introducing sustainable development practices and creating a culture of innovation, Russian light industry enterprises will be able to cope with emerging problems in conditions of limited imports of the necessary Western raw materials.
