Abstract

The subject of this research work was the burnishing process of a cylindrical opening of a multicuspid mandrel (push burnishing broach). It was examined by dividing the change in mesh texture of the surface layer of metal fibers in a section of a cylindrical opening, which coincides with the axis of the mandrel opening of the assembled bush. Processing of the distortion of the grid and comparing the results with its initial parameters allow to establish the nature and depth of distribution of the elastoplastic deformation.
