Nowadays, there is an increased production and consumption, development infrastructure in urban areas, accordingly there is a need for an efficient solution of the problem of solid waste management. This problem consists of various aspects: waste transport, accumulation of waste and recycling. At this time, it is necessary to reduce the number of landfills and abandon the direct combustion of waste. Also, it is necessary to enter the best available technology in economic activity. This article is about the measures and proposals for change the model of urban waste management on the example of waste transport hubs.
