Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of specificity of civil society in Russia. The author considers the challenges that it faces, and presumes that the adequate response to them can be found in shaping of Russians civil society as a real political power. The author also estimates the prospects of theoretical reconsideration of the notion of civil society with regard to Russia.
