Political Euphemisms of Lexico-Semantic Group “Terrorism” in Mass Media

Abstract

The article investigates the question of eupheminisation treating the semantic aspect of the term, giving the etymology of the term “ euphemism ”, elaborating principle classifications both Russian and English euphemisms. On the terms of the lexico-semantic group terrorism there’s been carried out a comparative study of euphemisms in Russian and English mass media sources.
