Аннотация

В статье рассматриваются проблемы модернизации политической системы Англии в период с XVI в. по первое десятилетие XVII в.: установление в политической идеологии и в праве Англии понятия государства, утверждение короля в качестве политического института, переход от персональной монархии к монархии институциональной.
