Abstract
In article the main characteristics of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) zone are considered. Removal of barriers on trade in goods between member countries became a main objective of creation of this association. Authors come to a conclusion that the world's largest regional free trade zone has promoted the countries to improve the economic situation, namely: The USA has received cheap labor, has lowered costs for production with preservation of appropriate quality; Mexico has got access to the American market, jobs and a big stream of investments; Canada has increased the volume of export as access to the Mexican market has opened.
