Economic aspects of sustainable development in Finland

Abstract

 

The article discusses the main trends in the economic and environmental agenda in Finland in various fields. Trends in the sphere of services, investments and energy are highlighted. The ecological situation in Finland is analyzed. Problems and solutions to this issue are identified that affect Finnish legislation, bio-innovations, tax regulation, the integration of digitalization achievements into solving the country's environmental problems, the use of the state budget as a tool for developing an environmentally sustainable economy, and other aspects. The article also raises related issues that can be resolved through the «green» economy.

Analysis of the electronics market and implementation of import substitution policy

Abstract

The work is devoted to an urgent problem - the implementation of import substitution, the preservation and development of a domestic electronic product. During the research, statistics were analyzed to assess the position of the industry, the electronics market, taking into account government support measures, and the experience of various world leaders was considered. The authors consider the strategies of various companies for working with the sale of replacement products. As a result of the study, both the theoretical principles of the studied policy and the part of the project already being implemented are determined.

Prospects for Vietnamese agriculture in the development of the state and its regions

Abstract

Vietnam is a dynamic Southeast Asian economy in which agriculture continues to play a significant role. Since the beginning of market reforms, this sector of the state's economy has undergone a number of major transformations that have significantly changed its specialization and methods of management. On the basis of statistical data, information resources and government documents, various aspects of agriculture in Vietnam were analyzed. Government plans for the development of rural areas, prospects for livestock and crop production were reviewed, and the importance of the regional aspect of agriculture was emphasized. It concludes that Vietnamese agriculture is strong and promising and that there is a tendency for regions to specialize in agriculture.

Contemporary urbanization processes in Indonesia

Abstract

The focus of the paper is urbanization processes taking place in Indonesia at the present stage. Dynamics of such indicators as the total population, the population of cities, the ratio of the population of the largest cities, and others are analyzed. Considerable attention is paid to the disproportions of the settlement system and the hypertrophied development of particular settlements, as well as the distribution of functions that are important for society between cities. Based on statistical data analysis, the authors conclude that ecistical system has been fully formed in Indonesia. However, it has shortcomings that are tangible challenges for Indonesia and must be eliminated for its social and economic development.

The current demographic situation of the Krasnodar Region

Abstract

Based on statistical indicators, this article provides an analysis and assessment of the current demographic situation in the Krasnodar Region, which has changed in 2020 under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has intensified the global economic crisis. As a result of the study of the state of the demographic situation in the Krasnodar Region, it was concluded that the rate of population growth in the region decreased with an increase in mortality, which led to an increase in natural population decline, the population increased due to a significant increase in migration growth, which determines the population growth of the region.

Migrants in Brazil: a role in the economy and patterns of accommodation

Abstract

The article shows the results of a research of migration to Brazil, the patterns of placement of migrants and their role in the country's economy. Brazil is a former Portuguese colony, a country with a diverse ethnic composition, formed during migrations in different historical periods from Europe, Africa and Asia. In the course of the study, it was revealed that in 2020 the number of international migrants amounted to 1% of the world indicator of their number, as a result of which Brazil's cash inflow was 2.25 times. The authors emphasize that the result of migration of different historical periods was the formation of areas of compact residence of immigrants from various countries and regions, with a special specialization of the economy (German migrants to Blumenau, Italian to Bento-Gonzalvis, Japanese in São Paulo, Parana and Rio Grande do Sul, immigrants from Africa - in the state of Bahia).

Economic analysis of productive potential of Krasnodar region

The article includes the study of productive potential of Krasnodar region, directions of development and effectiveness of realization of this kind of potential. The region is of the most developed in the country. Abundant resources and developed industries in the region can be used in manufacturing. Therefore, the region is attractive for investing Positions of the region in ratings of socio-economic development and key indicators of productive potential are analyzed. Based on this data there is given a common evaluation of the perspective productive potential.
