ASSESSMENT OF INTERRELATION OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC INDEXES WITH INDICATORS OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT ON THE EXAMPLE OF EU COUNTRIES

Abstract

In article interrelations of indicators of innovative and social and economic development of EU countries with use of tools of the multidimensional statistical analysis are analyzed. As the quantity characteristic of innovative activities at the macrolevel the Index of innovative development of the EU is chosen. It is shown that in case of group of the countries on the level of their innovation, the closest interrelation have indicators of innovative and economic development, however interrelation of innovative activity as with the level of unemployment, as well as with Jeanie's coefficient, it isn't revealed. The cross-correlation analysis didn't reveal also temporary log between indicators of innovative and social and economic development that complicates establishment of causes and effect relationships. It is shown that rapprochement of indicators of social and economic development between the countries relating to different groups of innovative development goes very slow rates.
