Abstract
In article the possibilities of innovative development of Iraq as one of the most important problems of the country in modern conditions are considered. In this regard the international cooperation regarding implementation of the international innovative projects gaining the growing value is analyzed. In work it is noted, the role that leading, directing and coordinating in this activity can and has to undertake the state owing to higher level of development of public sector in the country. The author comes to a conclusion that the state, being the catalyst of economic growth, including – the leading consumer of innovations, in the cooperation with foreign countries, can provide the corresponding growth and in the private sector, including in not oil segment.
