Problems and prospects of import substitution of dental equipment in Russia under sanctions

This article is devoted to the research and analysis of the dental equipment market. The problems and prospects in this industry related to the lack of domestic high-quality dental equipment are being investigated, it is especially important in this regard to consider the possibility of import substitution in the context of the sanctions policy against Russia. The issue of the development of machine-building production, as well as its impact on the production of medical devices, is highlighted, aspects of the development of scientific and technological progress and the introduction of modern technologies to improve the level of dental services are touched upon. As a result of the analysis, the authors conclude that both economic and legal changes are required for the development of domestic high-tech production in the field of dental technology. A general increase in production may affect the competitiveness and development of dental equipment production in Russia, which will lead to the availability of high-quality medicine for citizens.
