Abstract

This article analyses two studies from 2024: the first study analyses the factors of motivation and demotivation of Russian employees, the second study analyses the advantages and disadvantages of working in the Arctic regions of the Republic of Karelia (advantages are equated to motivation factors, disadvantages to demotivation). The factors are studied both for all employees and for individual age groups of employees. The motivation factors of Russian employees are compared with the responses of respondents in the Arctic regions of the Republic of Karelia; the specifics of the motivation of employees in the Arctic of Karelia are determined. Attention is also paid to the behavior trends of modern Russian personnel.
