University innovation environment: theoretical aspects and implementation practice

Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the formation of the innovation environment of universities, identifies the key factors and mechanisms contributing to the development of innovation in this area. The author focuses on the problems and barriers that arise when implementing innovative approaches in Russian higher education, and suggests ways to overcome them. Successful ecosystem practices are presented, demonstrating the importance of government support, the availability of venture financing and the availability of qualified personnel. Special attention is paid to the integration of science, education and entrepreneurship, and the creation of effective ecosystems. As a result, the article suggests an integrated approach to the formation of an innovative university environment combining educational, scientific and entrepreneurial components; provides specific recommendations for overcoming the existing problems facing universities. These recommendations are aimed at strengthening cooperation with enterprises in the real sector of the economy, attracting investment and implementing the best international practices.
