RELATIONAL PARADIGM IN PHYSICS

WEIZSÄCKER’S RELATIONAL THEORY AND BINARY GEOMETROPHYSICS OF YU. S. VLADIMIROV

Seval’nikov A.Y.

Abstract

The question of the connection between the ideas of relational concepts and the construction of a unified physics by K.F. von Weizsäcker, and binary geometrophysics of Yu.S. Vladimirov. It is shown the initial closeness both of the original premises of the two programs and their main conclusions, which completely coincide. The moments of divergence of the two programs are also shown. This discrepancy is due to the fact that Weizsacker associates the main problem of constructing a unified physical theory with epistemological problems, while in binary geometrophysics the ontological assumptions associated with the concept of pregeometry are taken as a basis.

THE ONTOLOGICAL TRIANGLE OF THE RELATIONAL PARADIGM

Godarev-Lozovsky M.G.

Abstract

The philosophical analysis of three main paradigms in the basis of physical knowledge is carried out. It is permissible to conclude that in the case of electromagnetic interaction between the emitter and the absorber: 1) the process of interaction of the photon with the medium in space and time can occur; 2) in the case when the photon “teleports” - there is only a relation outside of space and time. The following classification of fundamental concepts, with which the relational paradigm deals, is revealed. The ideal: space and time, field, information, a set of movements of quantum particles. The material: interactions, environment. Nothing more than countable: time, electromagnetic interactions. Uncountable: space, environment, interactions with the environment, a set of movements of quantum particles. Substantial: environment, interactions, information, a set of movements of quantum particles. Relational: space, time, field - as a means of description.

MAX PRINCIPLE AND UNIVERSAL SPECTRUM OF PERIODS: COMPLEMENTARY FRACTAL DISTRIBUTIONS AS CONSEQUENCE OF RATIONAL AND IRRATIONAL RELATIONS BETWEEN PARTS OF THE WHOLE SYSTEM

Panchelyuga V.A., Panchelyuga M.S.

Abstract

The paper discusses the assumption that Mach principle should result in existence of a universal spectrum of periods. It is shown that fragments of such a spectrum were found in time series of fluctuations of various processes. A general approach is considered that demonstrates the emergence of discrete states in the spectra of periods, which is based on two basic concepts: resonance and roughness of a physical system. This approach leads to the existence of two complementary fractal distributions associated with sets of rational and irrational relations between the elements of the whole system. A brief review of works that also consider universal spectra of periods is given.

BIBLICAL THESIS ABOUT CREATION “EX NIHILO” AND THE RELATIONAL PARADIGM OF PHYSICS

Kopeikin A.K.

Abstract

The biblical story begins with the story of the creation of the world out of nothing. In the context of theological tradition, creation means non-self-being; this is the reason for the constant variability of the universe. Biblical Revelation presupposes the assumption of a special kind of ontology of creation: nothing is self-existent, all being is relative and everything is relative to God. The entire history of natural science, starting with Galileo, shows that its development proceeded along the path of concretizing and expanding the field of applicability of the principle of the relativity of being: from Galilean relativity - to Einstein’s special theory of relativity - and, finally, to quantum mechanics - to the fact that one of the greatest physicists of the XX century academician Vladimir Fock called the principle of relativity to the means of observation. Considering quantum mechanics as the last natural link in this chain of realization of the principle of relativity in physics, we can, from the many alternative interpretations of quantum mechanics existing today, single out those that are organically consistent with the fundamental biblical principle of the relativity of being and consistently explain what is perceived as quantum paradoxes. This will allow you to take the next step towards comprehending the fundamental nature of reality.

GENETIC BASIS OF ALGEBRAIC BIOLOGY, GESTALT GENETICS AND TETRA-EIDOSES BY Yu. I. KULAKOV

Petoukhov S.V.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the universal algebraic rules of nucleotide sequences in the DNA of genomes of higher and lower organisms. The patterns identified by the author are related to the known binary nature of genetic structures and are expressed in genomic gestalt phenomena, which are similar to genetically inherited phenomena of gestalt psychology. This allows the author to develop the ideas of gestalt genetics and algebraic biology. Many genetic phenomena of tetrastructurization evoke associations with Kulakov’s concept of tetra-eidoses.

FLORENSKY’S PHILOSOPHICAL IDEAS AND THE THEORY OF SETS OF CANTOR

Radul D.N.

Abstract

The article considers the role of the idea of actual infinity in the works of Florensky. The introduction briefly traces the history of ideas about the actual infinity in European culture to the works of George Cantor. The reaction of European scientists and religious figures to the emergence of the “naïve” theory of Cantor sets is characterized. A detailed analysis of the connection between Florensky and George Cantor’s ideas is given. Many quotations from the 1904 work on the symbols of Infinity are given, which illustrate the influence of Cantor’s works on Florensky. The presentation of Florensky’s religious and philosophical ideas of Cantor about the actual infinity is given. Emphasized understanding Florensky transfinite numbers Cantor as symbols.

PHENOMEN OF THE SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTIONS MISSED OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICS OF THE XXth CENTURY

Vizgin V.P.

Abstract

The phenomenon of missed opportunities in the course of two scientific revolutions in fundamental physics is investigated: in the quantum relativistic revolution of the first third of the 20th century and in the gauge revolution that led to the creation of a standard model in elementary particle physics (1954-1974). Two cases of missed opportunities related to H. Poincare and his role in the history of the creation of the special theory of relativity are examined on the material of the first revolution. Two other cases of missed opportunities concerning A. Einstein in connection with the theory of the expanding Universe and with failed attempts to build a unified field theory based on a geometric field program are also considered. It is shown that in these cases epistemological and metaphysical outlooks of scientists were in many respects the causes of the «omissions». We mean the conventionalism of Poincare, as well as Einstein’s belief in the stationarity of the Universe and in the incredible power of mathematics as the only creative beginning in the construction of the physical theories. Two similar plots are explored on the material of the second revolution. The first story refers to the Young-Mills’ concept of the gauge fields, which played a key role in the creation of standard model. Several theorists came very close to this concept and, above all, V. Pauli, who for various reasons did not make a decisive step and missed opportunities to associate their names with the theory of gauge fields. Pauli believed that, despite its theoretical attraction, it could not overcome experimentally - empirical difficulties. The second story is related to the quantum field program being rejected in 1950-1960s by most theorists in favor of the phenomenological S-matrix program. As a result, many theorists have missed their opportunities to contribute to the creation of a standard model. And this “omission” was partly motivated by the positivist thesis that in theory only fundamentally observable values should appear. It is emphasized also that the phenomenon of missed opportunities opens the way for the study of the problem of alternative history of science.

DURR HANS-PETER FRAGMENT FROM THE BOOK “MATTER DOES NOT EXIST!”

Rybakova I.A.

Abstract

This translation contains the preface and the first two chapters from the last book of W. Heisenberg’s disciple Hans-Peter Duerr “Matter does not exist!” The book is devoted to the problem of interpretation of quantum mechanics. The author, G.-P. Duerr, raises the question of the need for a new view of the fundamental issues of physics and philosophy in general, while he turns to the experience of the Indian philosophical tradition, primarily relies on the Advaita Vedanta school. The author focuses on the concepts of “transcendence”, “immanence”, “cognition”, etc. The problematic of this work lies in the field of not only physics, metaphysics and religion, but also psychology, intercultural interaction.
