Global and regional economic development and the role of tourism in Latin America

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of global macroeconomic dynamics in 2002-2020 and for the future until 2023. The author shows a high degree of dependence and, consequently, vulnerability of the global economy in conditions of instability. In turn, macroeconomic trends in Latin America remain highly dependent on global processes and trends. In the article, the author presented a macroeconomic vision of the international and Latin American economy and its prospects in 2019-2020, with an emphasis on the tourism sector.
