Discrete and Continuous Models and Applied Computational Science arose in 2019 as a continuation of RUDN Journal of Mathematics, Information Sciences and Physics. RUDN Journal of Mathematics, Information Sciences and Physics arose in 2006 as a merger and continuation of the series “Physics”, “Mathematics”, “Applied Mathematics and Computer Science”, “Applied Mathematics and Computer Mathematics”. Bulletin of Peoples’ Friendship University of  Russia exists since 1993.

At the root of the creation of the above magazines were outstanding Russian scientists: JP Terlecki, LN Deriugin, AS Galiullin, VN Maslennikova, EP Zhidkov, GP Basharin. Journal articles are published dedicated to actual problems of physics, mathematics and computer science.
