Western political scientists have already dubbed Afghanistan as «a failed state» due to continuing instability and internal conflicts. Nevertheless, many experts consider this formulation to be an exaggeration because since 2001 the government has made some positive changes. Summarizing the results of the analysis, the author concluded that today Kabul faces a difficult task to improve the life of the population, which can be achieved by stabilizing the domestic situation and by economic development.
По итогам анализа автором был сделан вывод, что перед Кабулом сегодня стоит непростая задача по улучшению жизни населения, которая может быть достигнута путем стабилизации внутренней ситуации и экономического развития.</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Afghanistan</kwd><kwd>international assistance</kwd><kwd>security</kwd><kwd>economic development</kwd><kwd>unstable situation</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Афганистан</kwd><kwd>международная помощь</kwd><kwd>безопасность</kwd><kwd>экономическое развитие</kwd><kwd>нестабильная ситуация</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Афганистан в начале XXI века / Под ред.
