The calculated dependences for the determination of deformationsof the work- piece material under cutting wedge and the minimum value of the rake angle of the tool are given.</abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">В статье рассмотрено моделирование силового взаимодействия инструмента и заготовки при механической обработке.
