In his writings on diverse issues of history, war, revolution and construction of socialism, Muraviev quite accurately and profoundly noted the enormous significance and role of the peasantry in Russian history and Russian revolution. The author focuses on the images and ideas of Muraviev’s unfinished satirical work “The story of how Yaichkin became Ford” and then considers some Ford’s technocratic projects related to experiments in overcoming inequality between the city and the countryside, including positive and negative estimates of Soviet and foreign authors of Ford’s agricultural technologies, agrotowns, and rural cultural initiatives. The article provides a brief overview of the USSR’s automobile projects proposed by the prominent Soviet Bolshevik Valerian Valerianovich Obolensky (party pseudonym - Nikolai Osinsky) as related to Ford’s American projects, emphasizing that in the real conditions of capitalism and socialism both American and Soviet motorization projects led to the intensification and deepening of social and environmental contradictions in social life. In the final part of the article, Ford’s agrarian ideas are considered from the perspective of the philosophy of the common cause of Nikolai Fedorovich Fedorov and his follower Valerian Nikolaevich Muraviev.</p>
Н. Муравьева.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>V.N. Muraviev</kwd><kwd>H. Ford</kwd><kwd>V.V. Obolensky</kwd><kwd>N.F.
