In particular, the focus is on the means of Spanish nouns gender expression denoting women, and also relevant for modern Spain question of gender correctness in this field, in the context of the academic “New Spanish grammar” and debate in Spanish press, caused by the report of I. Bosque, the Spanish philologist, a member of the Royal Spanish Academy. The author shows that the nomination of persons in the profession, on the one hand, is a special reflection of the cultural and social environment in terms of gender, and the same names, on the other hand, are linguistic means of impact on the socio-cultural sphere.Статья посвящена рассмотрению активных языковых процессов в испанском языке, наблюдаемых в настоящее время в области категории рода при номинации лиц по профессии, виду деятельности, занимаемой должности, а именно: в центре внимания находятся средства выражения рода испанских существительных, обозначающих лиц женского пола, а также актуальный для современной Испании вопрос гендерной корректности в вышеуказанной сфере, в контексте академической «Новой грамматики испанского языка» и жаркой полемики в испанской прессе, вызванной докладом испанского филолога, члена Испанской королевской академии И. Боске.
