It can be more thoroughly traced in the speech of the bilinguals - people who can operate both languages equally and choose one of them in a suitable situation. However, linguists argue if code-switching is always moti-vated or are bilinguals influenced by the language factors.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Ученые лингвисты сравнительно недавно начали изучать кодовое переключение как отдельное явление. Более ярко выраженным оно является в речи билингвов, то есть людей, одинаково хорошо владеющих двумя языками и выбирающими каждый из них в подходящей ситуации. Однако лингвисты спорят - всегда ли переключение кода мотивировано или на билингвов оказывают влияние какие-либо языковые факторы.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>bilingualism</kwd><kwd>bilingual</kwd><kwd>code-switching</kwd><kwd>linguists</kwd><kwd>psychological approach</kwd><kwd>language factors</kwd><kwd>communicative act</kwd><kwd>speech</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>билингвизм</kwd><kwd>билингвальный</kwd><kwd>кодовое переключение</kwd><kwd>лингвисты</kwd><kwd>психологи-ческий подход</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Galperin, I.R.
