An overview of the recent five-factor theory is also provided. According to the theory, the five factors are encoded in human genes, therefore it is almost impossible to change the basic factors themselves, but a person's behavior might be changed due to characteristic adaptations which do not alter personality dimensions, only a person's behavior.
Рассмотрена основанная на модели теория, согласно которой уровень развития фактора определяется генетически и не изменяется в течение жизни, однако поведение человека может измениться в ходе адаптаций характера, не затрагивающих сами аспекты личности.</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>five-factor model</kwd><kwd>five-factor theory</kwd><kwd>cross-cultural research</kwd><kwd>personality dimensions</kwd><kwd>characteristic adaptations</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>пятифакторная модель личности</kwd><kwd>пятифакторная теория личности</kwd><kwd>кросскультурное исследование</kwd><kwd>аспекты личности</kwd><kwd>адаптации характера</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Крупнов А.И.
