The article is dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Vera S. Sigel (18.11.1885- 20.06.1934), Medicinae Doctor at the University of Lausanne, Chief Physician of the Petrograd Clinical Psychotherapeutic Institute, and author of the ‘Orthopedics of Relations’ method based on the concept of ‘relationship’. The author explores the main stages of the scientist’s development: her studies at the universities in Switzerland and France, and at the Women’s Medical Institute in Russia, her work as Chief Physician, and the development of her own psychotherapeutic method.

Статья посвящена 140-летию Веры Самойловны Зигель (18.11.1885- 20.06.1934) - доктора медицины Лозаннского университета, главного врача Петроградского Клинического психотерапевтического института, автора метода «ортопедии отношений», базирующегося на концепции «отношение». Раскрыты основные этапы становления ученого: зарубежное обучение в Швейцарии и Франции, обучение в России в Женском медицинском институте; работа главным врачом и разработка собственного психотерапевтического метода.
