The essay, which does not pretend to comprehensive development of the theme “Language and thinking”, focuses the reader’s attention on important issues, including the history of ideas in geographically distant centers of world culture and education of the past; the broad context of the cultural universe; language logic and some others. As an illustration, the author cites historical and philological facts as well as her own understanding of the concept of outstanding researchers, such as G.V. Kolshansky.
Эссе, не претендующее на всестороннее развитие темы «Язык и мышление», акцентирует внимание читателя на важных вопросах, в числе которых история идей в географически отдаленных друг от друга центрах мировой культуры и просвещения прошлого; широкий контекст культурного универсума; логика языка и некоторые другие. Автор приводит историкофилологические факты, а также собственное осмысление концепции выдающихся исследователей, таких, как Г.В. Колшанский, личности которого в работе уделено особое внимание.
