In the situation of multilinguistic Moroccan society, the core language plays the role of the social marker and often specifies the personal features and future, profession and even the place of the person in the world. As for the Russian mothers, they try to communicate to their children in the native language and to conserve it within the family during their whole life for the sake of the mutual understanding and respect, sympathy and loyalty.Not only the mixed families, but also teachers, social organizations of Russian compatriots and the Russian government institutions in Morocco play a positive role in the maintaining of the Russian language and culture in this society.</abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">Многолетние наблюдения показали, что из всего массива проблем, совокупно определяемых как «бытие русской общины в арабской стране», именно проблема русского языка является, пожалуй, основной как для успешной адаптации в принимающее общество, так и для сохранения культурных параметров исходного общества в новой культуре.
