The collapse of the Soviet Union, the large-scale transformation of the political and social structure in the early 1990s actualized the problem of nation-building in the new Russian state. The search for a “national idea” has contributed to the fact that over the past thirty years several dominant concepts of identity have changed in the Russian official discourse: from the denial of Soviet identity and the strategy of rapprochement with Western democracies to the construction of a great-power conservative identity of the “successor state”. The central place in the discourse of Russian identity is occupied by the problem of achieving social harmony through the elaboration of attitudes to the past, the construction of political values, the definition of symbolic boundaries of the political community. This research is devoted to the comparison of ideas about social harmony articulated within the framework of key concepts of post-Soviet identity of Russia.

Распад Советского Союза, масштабная трансформация политической и социальной структуры в начале 1990-х гг. актуализировали проблему нациестроительства в новом российском государстве. Поиск «национальной идеи» способствовал тому, что за последние тридцать лет в российском официальном дискурсе сменилось несколько доминирующих концепций идентичности: от отрицания советской идентичности и стратегии на сближение с западными демократиями до конструирования великодержавной консервативной идентичности «государства-продолжателя». Центральное место в дискурсе российской идентичности занимает проблема достижения общественного согласия посредством проработки отношения к прошлому, конструирования политических ценностей, определения символических границ политического сообщества. Данное исследование посвящена сравнению представлений об общественном согласии, артикулируемых в рамках ключевых концепций постсоветской идентичности России. Теоретико-методологической основой данного исследования является социально-конструктивистский подход к пониманию социальных феноменов и проблемы макрополитической идентичности. Используемая в данном исследовании методология дискурс-анализа позволяет проанализировать основные концепты, связанные с проблемой общественного согласия, в дискурсе постсоветской идентичности, а также увидеть трансформацию политического языка - языка самоописания политического сообщества, благодаря которому определяются символические границы данного сообщества, идентифицируются «Мы» и «Они», легитимируется та или иная концепция идентичности и транслируются структурообразующие для нее смыслы. Авторы приходят к заключению, что ключевую сложность на пути достижения консенсуса относительно будущей модели идентичности России представлял тот идейно-мировоззренческий раскол, который сформировался уже в период перестройки. При этом, как показано, наиболее жизнеспособная модель общественного согласия была выработана в рамках консервативного дискурса идентичности, в основе которой лежат нарратив «государства-продолжателя» и патриотизм как консолидирующая политическая ценность.
