The authors also refer to the traditional understanding of identity politics as a political course focused on protecting the rights of oppressed (deprived) minorities. The object of the research is the European countries of the post-Soviet space. The authors emphasize the dominance of the international (European) vector of political identity, based on the position declared in official speeches and confirmed in the media and history textbooks. The authors identify several stages that determine the algorithm of identity politics in the Baltic countries, the Ukraine and Belarus. They give examples of how in modern conditions the reference to value orientations actualizes the classical understanding of identity politics, at the same time exacerbating the confrontation between the countries that have chosen the European vector and those who hesitate or do not have such a chance.</p>
Авторы выделяют несколько этапов, определяющих алгоритм политики идентичности стран Балтии, Украины и Беларуси, приводят примеры того, что в современных условиях ссылка на ценностные ориентиры актуализирует классическое понимание политики идентичности, одновременно обостряя противостояние между странами, которые выбрали европейский вектор, и теми, кто колеблется или не имеет такого шанса.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>identity politics</kwd><kwd>international security</kwd><kwd>identity construction</kwd><kwd>post-Soviet space</kwd><kwd>European factor</kwd><kwd>Europe</kwd><kwd>Russia</kwd><kwd>the West</kwd><kwd>securitization</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>политика идентичности</kwd><kwd>международная безопасность</kwd><kwd>конструирование идентичности</kwd><kwd>постсоветское пространство</kwd><kwd>Европейский союз</kwd><kwd>европейский фактор</kwd><kwd>Россия</kwd><kwd>Запад</kwd><kwd>секьюритизация</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Статья подготовлена в рамках проекта «Война и мир в вызовах европейской безопасности» – POWERS программы Жана Монне.</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">The article is prepared with the support of Jean Monnet Network – Erasmus+ Programme “Peace, War and the World in European Security Challenges” (POWERS).</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Aron, R.
