However the advocates of different versions of aesthetic cognitivism fail to justify these claims. In this paper it is suggested that to arrive at a viable conception of the artistic truth the strong theses of the uniqueness of artistic knowledge and truth and the centrality of cognitive dimension in the definition of artistic value should be abandoned.
            </abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">Сущность позиции эстетического когнитивизма в отношении к проблеме художественной истины заключается в том, что, во-первых, искусство является носителем уникального знания, и, во-вторых, эта его способность определяет главную ценность искусства. Однако сторонники различных версий этого направления испытывают, как правило, серьезные трудности в обосновании своей позиции. Условием удовлетворительного решения проблемы художественной истины является, как представляется, отказ от «сильных» тезисов об уникальности художественной истины и о доминируюшей роли познавательного аспекта в определении ценности искусства.
