The possibility and necessity of using symplectic numerical methods for integrating the resulting system of Hamilton equations is established.</abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">В работе продемонстрирована Гамильтонова природа обыкновенных дифференциальных уравнений, описывающих эволюцию монохроматических линейно поляризованных плоских электромагнитных волн в стратифицированной среде.
