That is why in the paper a new model of the atmosphere is proposed. In this model strong electric fields in the Earth atmosphere are taken into account and described by means of the SU(2) Yang-Mills nonlinear generalization of the Maxwell equations. It is shown that the proposed nonlinear model is in a good balance with experimental data in the considered range of altitudes from zero to 1000 km.
Показывается, что предложенная нелинейная модель находится в хорошем согласии с экспериментальными данными в рассматриваемой области высот от нуля до 1000 км.</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Atmospheric regions</kwd><kwd>quasi-neutral plasma</kwd><kwd>nonlinear electric fields</kwd><kwd>Yang-Mills equations</kwd><kwd>nonlinear atmospheric model</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>атмосферные области</kwd><kwd>квазинейтральная плазма</kwd><kwd>нелинейные электрические поля</kwd><kwd>уравнения Янга-Миллса</kwd><kwd>нелинейная модель атмосферы</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Sedov L.
