We focus on SIP session setup over UDP that can be affected by the quality of the link. The transmissions are assumed to experience errors, which result in retransmissions of SIP messages based on session timers mechanism. We propose the technique of analysis with network of queues with different classes of customers (BCMP-networks). Finally, formulas for session setup time and session setup rate estimation are represented.</abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">В статье представлены результаты исследования показателей качества протокола инициирования сеансов связи.
