To analyze all the structure of hip arthroplasty complications and to check revision arthroplasty the register of hip arthroplasty was introduced in Europe. In 1979 the Swedish scientist Peter Herberts initiated the first register in history of hip and knee arthroplasty. The arthroplasty register of scientific institute of travmatology and orthopedics of R.R. Vreden works as a local program of documentation and analysis. To create the national register of hip arthroplasty in Russia, financial, administrative and technological issues needs to get sufficient respect.В работе проанализированы необходимость создания и преимущества использования регистра по эндопротезированию тазобедренного сустава как метода анализа когорт пациентов, которым выполнено такое эндопротезирование, позволяющего представить распределение осложнений при использовании тех или иных эндопротезов тазобедренного сустава, оценить сроки выживаемости эндопротезов, выявить «уязвимые области» в эндопротезировании и обозначить наиболее перспективные стратегии использования различных типов эндопротезов. Регистр позволяет делать выводы, основанные на статистическом анализе крупных когорт пациентов, что является первым уровнем данных в доказательной медицине.
