The dependence of the maternal mortality and geographical, demographic, economic, medical, organizational factors in the regions was analyzed. The main determinants associated with maternal mortality rate were defined. The power of influence of the organizational, demographic and economic factors on the maternal mortality rate was determined. The clinical and anamnestic risk of the maternal mortality was evaluated. The clinical features of pregnancy and childbirth, forming maternal mortality in different regions, were identified. The complex of priority measures to reduce maternal mortality in the regions was developed and implemented.В работе представлены особенности организации акушерско-гинекологической помощи в регионах Российской Федерации. Изучена зависимость уровня коэффициента материнской смертности (КМС) от географо-демографических, экономических и медико-организационных факторов в регионах. Определены основные детерминанты, ассоциированные с уровнем материнской смертности (МС). Определена сила влияния медико-организационных и демографо-экономических факторов на уровень МС, оценены клинико-анамнестические риски МС.
