In case of a pathological fracture, the main method of treatment is a surgical method. The main goal of the correction is to achieve stability and reduce metastatic pain in the area of damage or fracture. Today, the most popular organ-preserving operations for metastatic lesions of the femur in combination with pathological fractures are endoprosthesis and intramedullary osteosynthesis. In this paper, a comparative analysis of the results of their use is carried out, the advantages and disadvantages of each of the methods are described.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Одним из наиболее тяжелых осложнений метастатического поражения костей скелета является развитие патологического перелома, который не только ухудшает качество жизни, затрудняет проведение адекватного системного лечения, но и негативно влияет на общую выживаемость. При патологическом переломе основным методом лечения является хирургический. Основной целью коррекции является достижение стабильности и снижение болевого синдрома в области поражения или перелома. На сегодняшний день наиболее популярными органосохраняющими операциями при метастатическом поражении бедренной кости, в сочетании с патологическим переломом, являются эндопротезирование и интрамедуллярный остеосинтез.
