The relevance of this work stems from the growing role of semantic and value factors in the dynamics of contemporary conflicts, which increasingly unfold not only in physical but also in symbolic space. The theoretical and methodological framework of the study draws on a media-geographical approach to analyzing mental landscapes in different countries. Big data analysis was conducted through the integration of rank, factor, and content analysis within a spatiotemporal framework. The study revealed consistent country and regional patterns: the dominance of requests for “good” in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as in Russia and India; a concentration of interest in “freedom” in conflict-ridden and unstable regions; a fivefold global excess of requests for “security” over requests for “freedom”; and a correlation between the theme of “injustice” and the zone of permanent crisis in the Middle East. The results confirmed the thesis that value dichotomies act as markers of the conflictogenic potential of mental landscapes.</p>
Результаты подтвердили тезис о том, что ценностные дихотомии выступают маркерами конфликтогенного потенциала ментальных ландшафтов.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>symbolic space</kwd><kwd>mediatization of crises</kwd><kwd>spatial analysis</kwd><kwd>value dichotomies</kwd><kwd>mental landscapes</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>символическое пространство</kwd><kwd>медиатизация кризисов</kwd><kwd>пространственный анализ</kwd><kwd>ценностные дихотомии</kwd><kwd>ментальные ландшафты</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta><fn-group/></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Adams, P.C., &amp; Jansson, A.
