Lyotard), which has determined a number of conceptual trends in the post-Soviet development of national literatures during the shift of the artistic paradigm in the 1990s. The authors identify the most obvious constants and markers that determined the inclusion of the aesthetic constants of literary postmodernism in the works of the most iconic Uzbek writers of the non-classical artistic paradigm. The purpose of the article is to identify, define, and theoretically substantiate the worldview and aesthetic dominants of postum narrative, which demonstrate the functioning of postmodernism as a type of artistic consciousness, method, and style of the national literary system of Uzbekistan. The scientific novelty of the work lies not only in the systematic analysis of literary works based on the methodology and theory of postmodernism, but also in the development of identification criteria for relating ethno-cultural texts to the worldview, world-modeling, and aesthetic principles of postmodernism. The authors analyze the general constants of the postmodern type of artistic consciousness, but they focus on postum narrative as a strategy for the specific organization of postmodern literary texts and a marker of the “world as a text” model. This type of narrative determines the poetics, methods of world-modeling, and representation of ethno-cultural identity in a number of works by contemporary authors with a pronounced postmodern aesthetic. The research material comprises the Uzbek-language novel To’rt tomon qibla (Four Directions of the World) by Aman Mukhtar and the Russian-language novel Mbobo by Khamid Ismailov, a transcultural author associated with the Uzbek underground and literary diaspora. The methodological framework of the study employs intertextual and narrative analysis, alongside receptive and hermeneutic approaches to the interpretation of cultural codes and ciphers. It has been established that in the contemporary Uzbek literary process, postmodernism functions not as a distinct literary movement, but as a variable manifestation of its principles and trends within individual literary works. These works feature a pronounced metafictional architectonics of the “world as text”, which structures both the stylistic (intertextual and hypertextual levels) and structural principles of text construction (the narrative level).</p>
Установлено, что постмодернизм функционирует в современном узбекском литературном процессе не как художественное направление, а как вариативное проявление его принципов и тенденций в отдельных художественных произведениях с выраженной метафикциональной архитектоникой «мир как текст», которая организует стилистический (уровень интертекста и гипертекста) и структурный принципы построения текста (уровень нарратива).</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>postmodernism</kwd><kwd>artistic consciousness</kwd><kwd>novel</kwd><kwd>metafictional structure</kwd><kwd>Aman Mukhtar</kwd><kwd>Khamid Ismayilov</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>постмодернизм</kwd><kwd>художественное сознание</kwd><kwd>роман</kwd><kwd>метафикциональная структура</kwd><kwd>Аман Мухтар</kwd><kwd>Хамид Исмайлов</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Исследование выполнено в рамках проекта № 050119-0-000 на базе кафедры русской и зарубежной литературы филологического факультета Российского университета дружбы народов</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">The research was carried out within the framework of project No. 050119-0-000 on the basis at the Department of Russian and Foreign Literature, Faculty of Philology of the RUDN University</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source></award-group></funding-group></article-meta><fn-group/></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Bahtin, M.M.
